My Home, Inc.

My Home, Inc. is a gender specific, culturally competent adult outpatient chemical health anger / domestic violence program designed to address many issues faced by African Americans and other people of color. The primary focus of our unique and innovative non-traditional programs is to address social, cultural and behavioral issues that contribute to substance abuse, criminal/recidivistic behaviors, poor self esteem, poor parenting skills, as well as community, domestic and family violence.

Our client population consist of Adult African American men and women and East African men age 18 years and older who meet the criteria determined by the courts, rule 25 assessment, corrections who have been assessed as chemically dependent and who have a history of violent behavior. My Home Inc. has a proven history of providing services to resistant individuals.

We have found through our ten years of experience that the core of engaging resistant individuals is to build a rapport and trust. It is essential to gain an understanding of the client's issues from their perspective. "Meet them where they're at"

For Men and Women at My Home, self-discipline and simple supervision go hand-in-hand. All of our men are expected to live by a set of rules that, for the most part are life's rules. This helps to build a solid foundation for our men, empowering them to deal with life on life's terms.
We hold a mandatory Men’s meeting every Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays at 6:00 PM.  This forum, coupled with outside Recovery Speakers, offers a constructive outlet for our men to discuss issues important to them.

We would welcome the opportunity to give you a tour of our residences and talk with you in more detail about our program

My Home, Inc. is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services as a Rule 31 program.
